Firsts

Instead of going to the gym today, I decided to take a walk along River Thames. Instead of sitting on a bike or being on the cross trainer for an hour staring into the wall, I decided to do some sightseeing. Instead of doing something old, I decided to do something new. It must have been 8 degrees and warm winds swept through my hair, very nice. In fact, I've been walking around in my TOMS Shoes the whole of January. And there were a couple of days where I only wore a leather jacket (not only, of course). Both firsts! Anyway, my starting point was Waterloo Bridge on the South Bank side and my goal was Waterloo Bridge, but on the Strand side. I walked towards the Houses of Parliament and got to see it (and everything else alongside the river) from an angle which I haven't seen before. To my disappointment (no, just kidding) no new discoveries were made. Although now that I think of it, there was one: I didn't know there was a park behind the Palace of Westminster.
